See? Wasn't it obvious that my word found me? Rise. Looking & moving upWARD.
New word = new tools. Stencils and stamps with my default comfort palettes. This counts for Crusade No. 27 ~ Shape Up! A new shape that I'm running with.

The transition from ROSE to RISE is profound on so many levels. On a purely spiritual/religious level the transition from the rose (symbol of Mary) to rise (symbol of The Son) is quite exciting. I am so fascinated at how you are being directed spiritually.
You are on that stairway in so many ways ! Just beautiful Michelle ! May you continue to rise and to connect to those above, below and right there with you !

this is so incredibly inspirational…going back and reading some of what this last year has brought to your life it is amazing to feel what is happening here in this page with the transformation of this word…for me personally it has so much significance too…with some incredibly painful years behind me i am finding it so uplifting to come here and see your amazing art giving space to this word…and the spirit behind it…thank you so much for sharing all of it…you never know whose life you may be touching in the process…
Michelle, this is awesome work. There is so much depth in your pages. Can I ask…do you do lots of layering when producing work like this? Its just beautiful. I think the colours in that last piece are amazing…just about every colour sits within it. I just love it!

My word for the year is hope. I’ve started a journal, but haven’t posted from it yet. I’ve been focusing on a challenge journal so far this month.
