Making books from cardboard is not a new thing for me. However, this time I made a series of visual journals by starting with the masterboard method….which means each page already has some content. When you make a journal from a foundation that is already carrying marks of some kind, it’s a self-imposed challenge to create a unified and cohesive spread. I love playing along and get to proclaim one of my favorite mantras, “the answers are always on the page”.
