A huge pink scrap album (to chronicle the pink story!) arrived from JW in OZ with her pinks socks and the cutest story about being a girl dressed in black shopping for pink.  I'm with ya girl, pink is so not my thing either….but it has it's own meaning with this and I appreciate EVERYONE who has made the effort to shop for and send pink socks.  These arrived from Carrie on Friday but somehow missed the photo since they were propped up next to my computer as I checked the website for these clever things.

The third pink bin is nearly full.  I'm off to Target for another as I have had messages from many of you that more socks are still en route.   I.AM.BLOWN.AWAY.and.humbled.and thrilled.THANK.YOU.

    Hi Michelle ! Wow ! 524 pairs ! That is unbelieveable ! Or very believable, really !
    I remember when I fell in love with my husband. It was the time in my life that I felt the most loved ever (Still think he is the best in the whole world at loving me !). My friends all said “Oh Kim, you so deserve it !” I never completely believed it. Somehow seeing all the love that is circulating around you as a result of your openness and your desire to see good come out of a hard, hard situation has made me a believer. We all deserve it ! You so deserve this outpouring of love, Michelle. Thanks for making the ripples so wide…

    Hi Michelle,
    I have been unable to visit blogs for a while now, so when I read about the loss of your sister I was so sad. I am heading off to the shops first thing tomorrow morning to get some pink socks to post off to you. I will especially keep an eye out for some pink mens socks! 😉

    Glad you like the Little Miss Matched socks! I knew you’d get a kick out of them, and I’m certain there’s at least one nurse out there that is just waiting for those three socks — she just doesn’t know it yet 😉
    You are certifiably awesome. Are you going to make this an ongoing collection? It’s a lot of work, and you’re amazing for doing it even once.

    I found it after 3 short hours. The socks are on their way. Not literally of course, but by the end of today for sure. For all those cousins who didn’t think I could be techy. . . . I leave you speechless.

    I hit 4 stores on Saturday- 3 on Sunday-3 0n Tuesday- WHERE ARE ALL OF THE PINK SOX????? They must all be in NJ already!! NOt to worry I am going to three more stores today and I hope that I can score some PINK SOX!! If not the package willl just hae to go with all my hopes appreciation and love without the sox- BOOO HOOOO!

    Oh golly, I’m so glad they arrived!! Woohoo! Over 600 pairs of pink socks! How wonderful… I posted it on our craft forum here and a few of the girls are sending socks too!

    I had to search far and wide to find the two pair of pink socks that I found in my neck of the woods and now that so many have been bought and sent to our Michelle the fashion designers are going to think that “Pink” is what we ALL want to wear this coming year and there will be a virtual deluge of pink socks next fall. Better start buying your fall fashions accordingly gals!! :o)
    (Now all I need is some little pink bows to go with the little pink socks) :oD
