I roll, tie, and label the socks every night while watching the Olympics. I watch gymnastics and it gets me a little sad as my sister was a gymnast and she always enjoyed watching the event. Then I see all the pinkness I am surrounded by, knowing it has all arrived from around the globe, and I am filled with a huge sense of PEACE. Who knew that pink socks would make one feel so loved? I am giddy thinking about what it will be like to see their arrival on 7B. Thank you, Team Pink.

Somewhere in the Target executive offices, emergency meetings are being held to discuss the recent spike in sales of pink socks. Interns are gathering data and emails are spinning around the country to designers everywhere who are being told, βPINK! PINK! Make all the fall lines pink!β lol

i love julie’s comment…so true…and they’re probably discussing the recent rash of customers inquiring about pink men’s socks! i love what you have done to make up for the shortage…all i can say is, why didn’t i think of that!?
what a wonderful story of love and generosity this is…xo -
Oh Michelle, I stuff things in an envelope and throw them in the mail and you arrange them and they become a work of art! I am so honored to be a part of this and to be your friend.

hihi… I agree too with Julie… I’m more into pink than I thought myself…

and I’m quite sure the journey is not over when the socks has arrived at 7B…

Pink ‘Kiwi-made’ warm and fluffy socks are winging their way from New Zealand as of yesterday. They were kind of late getting posted cos dh had a heart attack last week and things got a bit off-beam for a few days there…
The socks all look totally amazing π -

Yay Team Pink!
I’m having a fabulo-US time watching this unfold (or rather FOLD, since you say you are working hard there to keep up).
Keep folding!

LOVE that you’re getting so many socks and using your powers for good, LOL! My little package of sockies will be there soon, I was a little delayed by my vacation…
Here’s to the power of pink! -
What a gorgeous tribute to your sister and how healing for you. I was and am amazed at the love that is felt.

Michelle, this is soooooo beautiful! I have been mostly off line this summer (school vacation and my daughter’s therapy ended) and I only just read of your terrible loss. I’m so sorry. I was so purely terrified when my little sister had a not-very-close brush with death, I can’t even imagine what you’re feeling. This is a wonderful way to celebrate her life and to show her kind caregivers how much you value them. I’m sorry I came into this so late. I will just have to send some pink sock energy your way and maybe you can pack it in the box with the actual pink socks.
Thinking of you,

Ooh, this is gonna be like that “dying kid” Craig Shergold, who wanted to be in the Guinness book for getting the most cards … only he got well years ago, and the hospital is still being flooded with cards (some 250 MILLION to date) 20 years later. You may have to open “The Pink Sock Emporium,” or maybe found “Pink Socks For The Third World!”
But it’s amazing how much love is out there, ain’t it? -
It’s a tidal wave!!!
