sneak peek

MichelleWardNewCollection09

I'm nearing the finish line….new stamps will go up for pre-order soon.  I'm not promising a date yet as I have to get ready for a workshop in October too.  Can't wait for both events!

My first collection of rubber stamps for Green Pepper Press was called HomeWard.  The next one was called WayWard.  Can't decide what should be the name of the new collection.  ForWard, UpWard, BackWard, InWard, OutWard, DownWard, AfterWard…..Graham said AwkWard *grin*.  Good gracious…I'm having so much fun….can't wait to show you!

….and I, for one, cannot wait for you to show us.
I too am getting ready for your workshop in October. I am collecting, gathering and packing things I may need….it could take me the whole 5 weeks to get ready!
    Can’t wait!!!
    Until later,

Ooooooooh I can’t wait! I love your new watermark, too. I think I spy that motif in the mashup of stamp images, which makes me happy 🙂
I wish I could go to your workshop! Taking that class I took in August made me realize how much of a difference it makes to learn things face-to-face. One of these years I’ll make it to your annual workshop!

Hmmm…. there’s the word straightforWARD which I like… but how about greenWARD! Yes, actually a word…but the definition below has to do with absolutely nothing, other than GREENpepperpress and michelleWARD, yes? Uh, maybe not huh. xoxoxoxox
    Definition of greensward
    n. – Turf green with grass. 2

‘Scuse me…’Scuse me…(elbows her way to the front of the crowd- tall people can DO that)…
I’d like to place an order before anyone else in the entire Universe. Is that possible?

What about words where ‘ward’ comes first – like ‘WARDrobe’ – you need a collection of clothing stamps for that one!

I am really going to need some of those Michelle! Someday I want to come over there and take another class with you. I still have that book that we made in the class at Artfest the year you came. It was the first time I ever used gesso and foam and acrylic paint and I was wanting to learn some thing I never tried before and I was hooked!
Then there is the spray paint story! Another long one.
How about Grungeward?! No one mentioned that one yet.
Oh yeah, I made this box bead out of metalclay with the last new sheet you sent me. I just posted it to my blog so come and take a look at your sheet in silver. I told everyone in class about where the sheet came from and posted the link to your rubber. Okay? http://happydayart.typepad.com/happydayart/2009/09/a-class-with-barbara-becker-simon.html
Have a wonderful time at Valley Ridge! I really wish I was going to be there.

I am thinking that ONWARD would be a good name – so positive and who knows what the future holds.
I am in Australia and would love for you to do some online classes?/
    Have you considered this????

Thanks Linda! I am having so much fun designing this new stuff. Need to stop soon and edit myself
so I can get them put onto sheets and out the door. Hope you are enjoying the cooler days – even thought it’s so sad to see summer go isn’t it?

    Hello Michelle,
you really make us curious ! I like all the names you came up with and the others also. My English vocabulary isn’t big enough I guess, to make other propositions, but they are some “ward”words I really like. IF only we knew HOW the new stamps will look like…
“Patience is a good virtue”.. they say…
I also like the proposition of an online class … to see and hear you “alive”…but the crusades are also “classes” for me , especially if I see what you teached us the past years !
    greetings from belgium
    Inge

How clever. You’ll have to create an aWARD line of stamps to use when we want to pat ourselves and our friends on the back for a job well done. 🙂
Three years of wonderful inspiration — many thanks!

    Hi Michelle,
Anew line you say? How exciting… I like More WayWard because it reminds me of you!!
Please think about doing an online class for those of us who would love to take a class with you, but live too far away.
I have so enjoyed Julie’s classes and would love to take a class with you – please consider it!
Right, I’m off my knees now – hope you have a great time at Valley Ridge!
    xoxo
