I've posted Crusade No. 33 ~ Back to School on the GPP Street Team blog.  Come over and play!  It's nearly three years since I started the creativity crusades, can you believe that?

A different kind of crusade ~ one of loss and love:  Today is the anniversary of The Sending of the Pink Socks.  September 5th we mailed off 700 pairs to the University of Minnesota Hospital, Unit 7B.  They were gathered from generous and giving souls around the globe and the experience left a permanent pink glow in my heart.  Thank you, again.  xoxo

Thanks for reminding us of all this pink love, Michelle. And what a treat to see you and Shannon having a good laugh together. It was a real privilege to be a part of this and be part of the international embrace. How are you doing one year later?

This was a beautiful way to allow people near and far to do something on Shannon’s behalf. In my experience, when people ask:
    “…what can I do?”
they’re asking because they really NEED a way to express love and support. It’s easy to say :
“..oh, nothing thanks…” in fear of putting people out, but that’s an incorrect assumption. We thank you and continue to send Love and support…

Has it been a year already? It has flown by so fast. I was happy to be able to join in. Time is passing me by so quickly these days. It has been a difficult time for you losing your sister, I have recently lost my older brother. Seeing you and Shannon in the picture reminds me that you are still together.

It is impossible for me to look at a pair of pink socks in the same way I did a year ago. Missing you my friend.

For me too, “pink socks” immediately bring me back to past year….
“A pink wink” and ” making the difference” is something that made a big impact on me and it’s something I tried in the past, but since past year even more : “making the difference” every day again, even if it’s just on a very, very small scale, but it does makes a difference..
