i heart VRAS

Valley Ridge Art Studio, near Madison, Wisconsin.  I've said it before, it's the most magical place to experience ~ a very special venue for art workshops.  The schedule for 2010 goes live on Monday.  Registration takes place December 7th, 9:00 am (central standard time).  Here's a brand new video to get you excited and motivated to come visit next year.  Lots of fabulous workshops from a stellar line-up of instructors!  We heart Kathy and Bill.  We heart VRAS!!

    Thanks so much for sharing that–it brings back a truly magical, memorable time (and you had a lot to do with the magic and memories – thanks!). It will be a great way for me to convince my friends that they really NEED to sign up for classes at VRAS.

    Crying? Is crying silly?
    Cathie and I watched this for the first time (I’ll watch it again) and were moved by the beauty, the genuineness of Kathy’s narrative, the natural setting, and seeing you and your students at work. Cathie wants to hike while I do my school work. These are moments in time that resonate outward like ripples on a pond. I feel very lucky to be here now. Thank you for sharing this.

    that’s not nice of you tempting me with such a video !!!!!! 🙂
    I watched it and immediately hit the reply button…As some of the previous commentors say, I had the same : it’s so nice to see you and hear you voice ! ( I wasn’t dissappointed and you sound like I could have imagined…imagine you had a high nasal voice… that would not be what I would have thought…LOL)
    It does look a great place to be and to create : I don’t know anything similar here in Belgium ( or maybe I didn’t found it yet..) and would love to come over, but I doubt it’s a realistic hope… But you never know… sometimes dreams come through…
    I would only have one problem : surely chosing one of your workshops but then make a choice between all the other workshops ?! I think that’s a huge task..

    WHAT can I say?…
    This is a beautiful little gem. The sneek peek that will motivate me to sell the car if I have to and get out there.
    You look wonderful and we really “get” how inspiring your classes continue to be. Kathy is just the perfect, elegant, fun spokeswoman that we know her to be. What a unique and wonderful venue!
    I’m shaking my head and loving the professional quality of this video piece. Fabulous.
