While I tend to feel guilty buying anything for myself in December, that doesn't count for November! Tonight I posted a new crusade on my Street Team blog. You know I love *signs*. I am encouraging you to document yours in your journal, and share the story. It's a cool thing knowing someone else's signs because when you see them you widen the circle of connection. I know many of you think of me when you see pink socks, which means that Shannon is being thought of too, right? It's all good. Share your signs!

I need to make a journal page with pansies. They are Mom's favorite flower. Some years ago I got her a press so she could send me dried blossoms and I have handfuls of lovely pansies I've used to make her cards and gifts but I never have made a journal page about it. I motivate myself to do it now…..and I will include that she turns 70 today!

hello Michelle,
great Etsy finds ! I sometimes find it hard to treat myself with such finds, but you got me into Etsy for buying ànd selling and I DID order some artsy stuff to treat myself in the past.
Problem is I may not look to often at Etsy cause there is always something I like and I have to keep my money in my pocket with two studying boys at university and a daughter in art school… but sometimes…
Happy birthday to your mom ! My mom gets 70 next year and we will celebrate it in our garden next summer.
My mom àlso loves pansies and collected during the years a lot of “pansystuff”, a lot also handmade.
I took photographs of it and together with photos of her apartment where she lives now and photos of her paintings, I’m going to make a Mac photobook with it as her New years gift.
It’s nice to know someone’s “favorite” and have a look out and find something special during the year and give this as a gift for mother’s day, birthdays,…
I keep your mom’s “favorite” in mind…
