Fish out of water……

I’m not talking about being in the big city….because she’s all hip to that….I’m talking about the temperature.  35 degrees is mild to us out here….and if you’re from MN like me it’s downright balmy.  But if you’re from California, it’s COLD!

She’s lovingly referred to as My Boss, and in a sense she is because I do write for her.  You know and love her as the Editor-In-Chief of Somerset Studio and Director of Publishing at Stampington – and I know her as very special friend.  Jenny Doh and I spent the day in New York.  Look!  You don’t have to lean forward with the bug eyed goon face to eliminate chances of catching the double chin if you’re wearing a scarf.  (Pink crotcheted -is that how you spell it? – necklace by Ms. Doh)  More to follow………….

FAB pictures! I know what you mean about COLD! On Sat. we drove out to Banning (high desert here in Cal) to spend the night, and it hailed in the evening, the golf course was so cold that the icy hail sat there like a big fluffy layer of snow. And then, in the morning, when we left, the whole place was white, and we had to get the snow and ice off our car in the dark before we could leave. Believe me, in Monrovia, you don’t have to deal with 35 degrees!! It was like being on another planet!
You two look marvelous. And it looks like you had fun even if Jenny WAS a fish out of warm water! Thanks for sharing.

Adorable!..and I hope that NYC knew that Two Queens of Creativity were, shall we say:
    Burning up the Streets??!!
Can’t wait for more pix from your day.
More importantly, what magic did the two of your cook up??
    …the World waits..

    Hello Michelle,
I agree with Carrie ! Can you show a bigger shot of the necklace ? It looks great already on your clothes, but a closer look probably gives inspiration…
I once sended you an email, but probably you get so much emails, you can’t answer them all, but I love the way you present your photo’s on your blog , with swirls, your name or like now with snowflakes.
Maybe I’m not the only one who is eager to know how you do this. I suppose you do it with Photoshop, but maybe you can learn us some tricks… An idea for a post ? Please ?

You must have had sooo much fun in The City! And come on Michelle, just look at your lovely cheek bones! And, yes, scarves are so fun – I wear them in CA even though it’s a FREEZING 58 degrees today.

Can’t believe we walked the streets of THE CITY together. It was more than fun. It was surreal. And yes, it was freaking cold for this whimpy Californian. You’re the best. Thanks for everything, Michelle.
