You are my sunshine…..

I was looking through some old digital files and found this….seems like a long time ago these pieces were made for Somerset Studio’s "With One Palette". (Just looked it up….Jan/Feb 2004 which means I made this stuff mid-2003) I realize I haven’t evolved too much in the color arena except for that I almost always use red. The book is an old 45 record holder, with my square art sliding into the folders that have circle cut-outs, the perfect platform for exploring sun imagery and lyrics.

No school tomorrow so our holiday weekend starts early – first up: Pirates No. 3! We have been experiencing the BEST pre-summer weather – I can’t remember a year this lovely. Seems the last few Springs were 3 seconds long and we were flung straight into unwelcome heat. Love the sunny days and cool nights. Hope wherever you are it is just as nice.

Wow, I thought I was looking at a beautiful layout in Somerset! Your pictures are all so professionally done, they are always so stunning. I love these colors but most especially the theme. That is my absolute favorite sun! Gorgeous! I saw these layouts when they were published, I thought they were so beautiful but Girl, seeing them again reminds me just HOW beautiful they are! These really show “who you are and have been” as they show the beautiful colors, your “Interior Decorating talent” shows through and your time spent in architecture is highlighted! I’m looking but don’t see a “heart-o-gram”….it belongs now! As for sun….we are seeing beautiful 70 degree temps with loads of beautiful sunshine, it gets down to mid 40’s at night! Can’t ask for more beautiful summer days! Enjoy your weekend…..we are going to the river!

Whilst you are heading into summer, our winter seems to have hit! Although I really have nothing to complain about as our temperatures are pretty mild compared to yours! xo
