It's that time…purging clutter and clippings. Use it or shake it off. Used the scraps on my table today to make the RT pages. I enjoy being a packrat. It means I see potential in everything - the smallest thing can be used on a journal page. But it's a gorgeous day and I'm energized to reorganize and pitch!
Did you know David Cassidy turned 60 last week? In fond remembrance I blasted some old tunes in the studio.
awwww Happy Birthday David! I too had a crush on him, had a poster on my bedroom wall when I was like 12 or 13..LOL Used to watch that show all the time..Danny always cracked me up!

that’s how i used to journal from things my eyes found full of possibility and shiny and wonderful, i still do, proof is that people at work bring me all kind of stuff because they know i reuse everything BUT nowadays i confess, i have some more money and buy things to make them more “prettier and archival”

60! Where does the time go. I was so in love with David. My BFF & I would watch the Brady Bunch and then The Partridge Family faithfully every Friday. What great memories. Loved the song Brown Eyes. I still have all their albums, though they haven’t been played in decades. Maybe it’s time for me to turn all my old albums into mp3s? Then I could purge a tremendous amount of stuff. I am like you as far as the pack rat goes. The point we differ is I don’t let pieces go. Maybe your post is the kick in the butt I need. Thanks! BTW, Love the journal page.

Oh Dear Michelle, he is 60? I liked some of the songs from the Partridge Family, but Paul Revere and the Raiders, now I had a crush on Mark Lindsay. I don’t even want to know how old he is, ha ha. I can’t say I ever thought of a song as “written for me”, but my grandmother used to think “Delilah” by Tom Jones was for her, and after all, how many Deliah’s were there? She had me convinced.
Loved your post about your first rock star crush – you inspired me to do a post on my blog about mine. Ahh…. as Fall Out Boy would say – Thanks for the memories.

When you said that you are a pack rat because you see the potential in every little thing, I almost swooned. This is also my mantra and I have also been feeling like it’s time to purge. Well, maybe not purge like my super tidy sisters and sisters-in-law whose homes could be in a magazine, but clear out a bit. So nice to know that I’m not alone!
By the way, did you — *gasp!* — say that David Cassidy is 60? It’s not possible. . . is it?
david cassidy turned 60!!?! holy cow. wow, that’s making me a feel little, um, old. yesterday my livvie and i took a picture together both wearing our purple glasses and she commented that i look older than i am when i wear my glasses. oh well. love your scraps and your packratness. i’m a packrat too. good motivation to do something with all those bits and pieces.
