Happy fathers day in the US !
We had that celebration past sunday here in Belgium : I made “chocolatpaste” ( I don’t find the word in my dictionary : it’s the sweet thing with chocolat you put on your slices of bread in the morning…) with my Poppychildren ( the tasting was the best part for them) and we took photos of them with chocolat around their mouths and made a poem for their dad and made a label to put on the jar…
Sometimes I wish my big teenagers were still small and brought their selfmade presents on our bed on days like mothers and fathers day…:)
I think I post a photo of it with the recipe and the photos one of the coming days…
Your kids are also growing up !! What is your eldest going to do next year ?
Schools almost out here too… We don’t have the results of the kids yet, fingers crossed it’s good… just two weeks to go and then vacation!!
greetings from belgium
Inge

Mazal tov, Michelle!
Our babies become young adults and astound us with their accomplishments and their maturity.
Well, some of the time. *grin*
I hope the extended family being together for these happy occasions lifts everyone’s hearts during this time of the year.
Congrats for your family! My last of three graduated last year and just finished her first year at community college. I am dealing with my eldest turing “30” next month……
I never thought I would miss all the crazy “school” stuff, and yet when I read your post I was washed over with a wave of nostalgia, missing all the hassles and Parent-Teacher meetings.
