she’s still got it

Many of you know my cute little Mom so I thought I'd share this awesome shot.  Looking at her you'd never guess she is 70.  Back in the day she and her brother used to do that fancy trick skiing stuff – like Mom climbing way up the pyramid.  I know, crazy!  I remember my Dad and my uncle CARRYING us in their arms as they skied around the lake when we were kids.  I know, even crazier!  So here she is, from last month, taken by my brother:

We are off to visit my entire family….it's my parents 50th anniversary!  I'm sure skiing will be involved.  Hopefully I still have it.  I'm sure I won't look as good as her…..or the Go-Go's ;)  *waves goodbye*

    My mom was the same way! She loved it… I think what she loved even more was yelling “HIT IT” when she was ready to go… ah, lake memories, love them… hope you have a wonderful time back in MN! xo

    How great is that! And you say she is 70? My mom is 76 and she won’t be water sking anytime soon. My mom does have a NEW BOYFRIEND though, after being married to my father for 51 years. He has now passed away and this new man is now in her life. Strange but very sweet.

    WOW .. what a mom !!
    I think she’s of a good generation : my mom Is also 70.
    She became 70 on the 1st of August and we had a big gardenparty in my garden with 150 friends and relatives…I have a blogpost about it…
    Enjoy your vacation over there and take care when waterskiing !
    i have never done something like that : I don’t think I would stay on the skis.LOL
