sheesh, it’s hot

We melted today.  95* is too hot for April.  At least it didn't rain and I could do a little spraying.

I love collecting type from magazines but I don't really care what it says.  I will scudge up these pages tomorrow with some sandpaper and then spray paint so they look like decaying posters often seen on random surfaces in New York.  This Walls Notebook is perfect for that.

I confess, I've put up a few posters myself – although it's been a while since my HIM Street Team sniped in the city.   We need a new album so we can launch a crusade.  Here's some old Evidence.  Kat didn't mind getting the heartagram sticker…she's a fan.

Speaking of crusades, No. 30 is coming to an end.  We are discussing journaling in your journal with Cat Got Your Tongue?  Come play before it's over!

OH, Michelle – we were only 92 degrees here in Northern Virginia – wasn’t quite ready for this heat wave – but the VW bug convertible was! ; ) . Keep those ideas coming on the Walls Notebook – (yes, I need your kind of help, girlfriend) I’ve been working in mine off and on and will bring with me to Wisconsin in the Fall! xoxoxo
PS, can’t wait for my stamps to arrive – I am so excited. The first stamp will be on the “Walls” —

The flames added to the edges of the photo really added! 🙂 Love magazine type, too. I use it with my clients all the time. Sometimes having someone ELSE express our thoughts is easier for people.
    Love your blog.

Hey Michelle! LOVE your page of type! And the idea of roughing it up to look like decaying signs is too cool… wish I’d thought of it! And I agree, getting engaged is HOT, this weather, though, is for the birds… I’m still waiting for Spring. xoxo

Good GAWD… 95? What the hell? Maybe literally hell? LOL…haven’t gotten that far in Wisconsin, that’s fo-sho! Lovin’ the word scudge… going to work that in to my vocab tomorrow at work and see if anyone notices or asks what the heck I’m talking about. I will ignore them, and pretend it’s a real word and they are the ones in the dark. Ha!

95? How is it possible that a state a little further north of us had such heat, while we in Michigan had cold weather? Oh dear. Well i wanted to stop in and tell that i live my stamps! Thank you. Also did Hot Topic do a deal for you? I had been hoping and praying they would. Love the journal. So cool!

I love this effect, this ransom note thing! You have such a gift for new ideas and effects! The grey and red and black is always fab, too. I love it that you included your new stamp sheet. I was playing with it last night, but my surface didn’t work out and I didn’t get to use it yet!! I think I’m going to put the whole luscious thing down on the canvas as one stamp!

    “hot topic” arrived!
I cut them out and glued them on stampingfoam. Just need some time to cut them out completely now ( hopefully this afternoon) and USE them !
I really like what you’re doing with your walls book. Wish I had time to “just create” without a real purpose.
I have some creative “to do ” things on my list ( also fun) : birthdaycards, a page in an international round robin book ( my first international : must think a lot of your “true colors” adventure), sewing new books with the “secret Belgian binding” for bookbindinglessons,…
The crusades… are you out of the dilemma yet ?…
A new HIM album… you learned me to listen to his music… now I hope for a new one too 🙂
greetings from Belgium ( only 48° , so that’s not very warm yet… send some sun…)
