poppy talk

Yesterday was RubyTuesday and I did work on some pages – Little Red Riding Hood has become it's own artist book.  I am not ready to show you yet – too many incomplete pages but lots and lots of ideas pouring in.  LOVE when that happens.

I was asked to explain how I made my poppies from a previous RT page – super easy.  LOVE tyvek!  LOVE paper!  LOVE poppies!  I meant to post yesterday but didn't get it done.

Very cool, Michelle. I hadn’t seen the straight-on poppies before, but they are great. Hope your trip to NYC was good.

    Hello Michelle,
I think I lost two weeks of my life… it’s been so busy here especially at school that I don’t seem to visit any blogs for the moment.
When I come here now I see that I have a lot of reading and savouring over photos to do !
I really like your different poppies: they are indeed easy to make, but stunning to see.I really like the layering in the colors of the poppies : especially when they are cut out of the painted paper the layering shows it’s beautiful effect.
I’m still not quite sure what tyvek is… I will have a look at our envelopes and try the painting to see if it has the same effect as on yours.
    greetings from belgium
    Inge
