Last month the newest issue of Somerset Studio arrived. The theme was "nature", and I showed a canvas made earlier in the year. In addition to the article, Stampington included two of my photos for their "artist pages". I had a love/hate experience working on this large piece, and recognized how uncomfortable I am working big. I'm getting it figured out though and have actually tried a few more since then.
In my next post I will show a few more details, and show you all the stencils I used.
I always enjoy your articles! They are the highlight of the magazine, I read them first

I just wanted to thank you for your article about Linda Warlyn in the latest Somerset Studio.
I was so sad to read of Linda’s passing. Her work awed and inspired me. She spoke to my love of “The Tiny.”
Covid has disconnected me from a lot of the outside world—as it has so many. I’m grateful to you and my Somerset subscription for providing me with this news about Linda. I will honor her in my way, and send love and condolences to you and your friends.

Sandy, thanks for sharing your kind words. I’m sorry you had to learn about Linda this way. But I love hearing how you connected with her, especially your love of “the tiny”. That was so her – could wave magic in the little things for a huge impact, artistically and emotionally. She will be missed.
