meet Anna

You know I love Finns.  Here's another….actually, she is from Poland.  Her name is Anna Dabrowska, but her nickname is Finn.  She's an amazing artist and has made some pages for the guest gallery at Green Pepper Press using some of my stamps.  Love that the internet provides an introduction to people we would never get to meet….

These pages are just GORGEOUS…so lush and dimensional! And Anna’s blog is a feast for the eyes and soul. Michelle, it must have been a thrill and a half to see what Anna has done with your stunning stamps! If my grandpa were still here, I would be calling him right now to find out how to say, “You Rock, Anna!” in Polish…but here it is in English…”Anna, you rock!” xox

I just got back from visiting the full pages at the Green Pepper Press Gallery and WOW!!!
What a fresh, passionate and original style! It’s a fantastic blend of layers and “not TOO Much”….just enough to be a very skillful graphic layout (not too busy) , but with layers of color and visual interest. Many people aspire to blend scrapbook with mixed media, but Finn has NAILED IT. How cool that she uses your stunning and versatile rubber stamps too. I agree with Maryanne and Linda: a new Rubber Rock Star!!!

Michelle, These are GREAT! I am so impressed that Anna is able to carry off both the very lush steampunk layout and the much more restrained and spare following layouts–so often it’s one style or the other but Anna does both with authority. As you say, her sense of composition is right on. And I love that she uses Tattered Angels (which I love) along with your stamps (which ditto). Thanks for sharing her work with us. Hope you had a great weekend.
