Made in USA, by D&L Foundry, found in NYC.
Not all covers have marking from where it's made.
Here's one from Bridgewater, NJ. Made by Campbell Foundry Company in Harrison, NJ.

Before I had my own website I was included in A Russian Website based in Moscow called “Sewers of the World Unite:” http://sewers.artinfo.ru/archives/archive-en.htm.
The first person who contacted me on that site was Dane Lane, a graphic designer from Campbell Foundry of NJ. He designed logos for me and even created a Poster based on my Manhole Cover Post Cards. He also sent me photos of molten iron being poured into molds.We have been in contact since 2000.

Bobbi, you are a wealth of knowledge on the subject. I love that you made art and wrote a poem to honor the Indian iron worker. I will think of that, and of them, the next time I see a “Made in India” stamping. As I posted on Day 11, I find it very educational to be able to see into the process – both here and overseas.
