it’s time

Uncle Sam, Jack Skellington, and Snow White are ready.  Bring it on!  Have a great weekend!

Years ago, my grandfather had received a digital watch as a special gift.  He wore it with pride – thinking it was so modern and easy to read.  One day I noticed he wasn't wearing it.  He couldn't figure out how to adjust the time for daylight savings, so he put it away and planned on getting it back out in the fall.  It took me two seconds to 'fix' it for him that April and I promised to 'fix' it again in October.  When he died in 1983 there wasn't an opportunity to request a significant keepsake.  I would have asked for the watch.  Doesn't matter as the memory is still treasured, and revisited every time I turn back the clocks.

    Happy Halloween from Belgium !
no party at the house this year , cause I was away on a “girls only weekend” with my friend. Daughter Gaia kept the tradition with her boyfriend at our house by carving pumpkins, making halloween cakes,… Dorien and I celebrated halloween creating in a travelerslodge on a camping… no clocks around : sleeping long without snorring husbands, get up at the hour we wanted, eat when we were hungry…
You never know when the watch of your grandfather shows up… Nice story about it.
And a great drawing of the chemical romance !
    greets
    Inge
