man-oh-man, i will never let my studio get messy again. so much has been tossed out, alot set aside to be filed, piles of things finally put away. i am nearly done. LOVE my new studio table Graham made and my intention is to have at least half of it clear every evening. omg, i have so many terrific supplies and i am giddy that i have gotten things better organized. loved having the freedom of summer – no schedules – to make this happen. i'll be back soon 🙂

Hello Michelle,
you make me so curious about your new workspace !
Please can you show some pictures… I bought Lynn Perella’s book because you were in. There was a sight of your outside workspace, but not your inside workplace…
Just inspire us with organizing tips and tricks !
greetings from belgium

Congratulations–it is indeed a wonderful feeling to get rid of the clutter. Seems getting rid of it physically cleans out our brain workspace too! Have fun in the upcoming weeks then.

@inge: i will show you some photos soon. lynne specifically requested photos of my outside space ONLY for her book – sorry you may have been disappointed…but i will share my space eventually. stay tuned 🙂
@elizabeth: oh yes, clearing the clutter IS like filtering my brain. i could shake off some unfinished things and let go of them, while planning ahead for new ideas that channelled in during the purge. -
We’ll be right here waiting for you, so you take your time. When does the “pre-order” period end on your new stamp release? I don’t want to miss out on the special pre-pricing.

I recently moved to a new house with a dedicated studio and am still (6 month later) unpacking and putting stuff away. I’m so excited to see what you come up with after the Great Purge. Congratulations!

Enjoy this time to create your special space just the way you want it. You are making a new path for your creativity and it sounds very exciting!

Oh I could use this expertise right now in my own space here in my new space (redundant sentence?) … organization is not a trait that I possess so I’m a tad bit jealous that you’re ‘on a roll’ … can’t wait to see the outcome!! xoxox

I will never let my art space get this messy again – haven’t we all uttered THOSE magical words hehehe.
A clean up and clean out is great – finding materials you forgot you had, finding new inspiration, falling in love again with old favourites. Can’t wait to see some pics.

Oh, definitely…pictures please! Keep on rolling, sounds like you’re enjoying the process and yes, we’ll be right here waiting! oxox
