Keep them in your prayers, and while you are at it, pray for my brother and his family as they have been sandbagging for days in Moorhead, MN, with the hopes of fending off the flooding waters from their town and their home. Fire and water….I'm thankful for the four walls around me today, aren't you?
EDIT: I've loaded the new rubber sheet to Green Pepper Press. Keep in mind it is pre-order so won't ship for a few weeks. I set up a new shipping policy so this half sheet can go out by First Class mail, which is slower but cheaper! ($1 to U.S., $1.70 to Canada, and $3.00 elsewhere)

I’m in! I love your designs and I always ‘need’ more rubber. I also love our home and would be crushed to lose it. I will add Paula, your brother and their families to my prayer list. (I wish we could take some of their flood waters, we have a bad drought here in Georgia)

Heck, I’d chip in even if it wasn’t by buying your rubber. And I’d buy the stamps even if it wasn’t for charity. I always try to remind myself to be grateful for what I have, but of course often forget anyway…
Your friends will all be in my prayers.
P.S. Wow, I didn’t even realize that A Moth Into a Butterfly is Paula’s other blog. I just googled the phrase cos I couldn’t remember which HIM song it was from and that’s one of the links that came up, and in the side frame it said “visit my other blog at forcryeye.blogspot” etc. Did you do that on purpose?
This is so cool of you to do Michelle! When I was little we lost our home to a fire, so this pulls at my heart strings! I will be getting this new rubber for SURE!!!!

So sorry to hear about the Longs tragedy and I really wish your brother well; hopefully the floods will not be too bad. My sister had a fire years ago and it took everything…she had very little left. It was a very sad time. But nobody was hurt and they were able to rebuild their house. I wish Paula and her family the best. Know that things will get better.

Michelle – I am cleaning out supplies for the next few weeks and will set stuff aside in case Paula would like the stuff. I can’t or won’t give it to Good Will since they don’t have a clue sometimes what the stuff is. Would you check with Paula to see if she might want some of it. Don’t know what it would be – I have several papercutters, Tim Holtz containers, etc, and am more than willing to ship it to her when she would like it.

I live in an old house too and ceilings and floors upstairs are in wood … Fire is something I’m really scared of : losing my house would be losing a lot of my identity…
Luckily there wasn’t a human loss and they are all safe ! But it’s still a sad event.
I order your stamps right away… not only cause they are a “caring gift” of you, but they ARE very nice.
I really like what you did with them on the ATC’s and tags : they are very versatile … and really YOU…

I just had to stop by again, and tell everyone how touched I am by this amazing outpouring. Thank you so much!!! I will pass on to you what I wish you to do: back up your photos and give copies to family/friends, inventory your house NOW so you know exactly what you have, check your smoke detectors, check your insurance coverage and know that the amount you are insured for doesn’t mean they have to give you that amount, buy a DECENT fire safe for your important papers…and practice your fire safety plan!
