Same subject, same colors.  I like a limited palette.  It gives me the opportunity to explore textures and shapes without being distracted by color choices.  There is truth to less is more.

Love the Jill Penney and Daniel Torrente images from Stampotique, don't you? Circle stamps and large alphabet (HUG) from GPP.

    Michelle –
I love this study! Love the colors, love the placement, just love the way it looks! I have been playing with a diamond study but haven’t completed it yet.
Your work gives me such inspiration….I really need to make the time to go out and spray in the garage before it gets too cold to spray!
    Until later,
    Judy

    Hello Michelle,
your visit to my blog was a unexpected and beautiful birthdaypresent ! Thanks for passing by !
I like your journalwork, your experimenting, the versatility you show with simple dots and x’s.
Wish I had some time to experiment to get rid of some frustrations of work….( not the children, but some adults… grrrr)
You know, I’m going to do something now with stamps and inks…. it always makes me feel happy…
    till later !

    Michelle,
your circle pages are just so yummy and inspirational. Looking at them reminds me that it was a long time since I created a page of artsy art in my art journal! I’ve made several kind of diary recordings with text as I’ve been trying to incorporate more writing into my art journal, but I’ve forgotten about the arsy wild pages I love making. I think a page of round circles will be in my future! Thanks for posting these! Sad to say I haven’t cleaned up anything during September and therefor haven’t been in the crusade! :-/ I hope next one!

Not many spraying days outside left in my neck of the woods. The studies look great. I really like the turquoise paint. Do you keep something between your pages after they are dry – so they don’t stick together? Like wax paper?

Yes, I DO love those stamps! I have some on my blog today and will have some more tomorrow. I have been collecting spray paint lately. I love what you do with it.

Congrats to your daughter for getting her braces off! Last year (at age 53) I got mine off, too!
