Loved the movie….have you seen it?  So charming.   I think Robin William’s "Wizard" could be a brother to Bono’s "Dr. Robert" from Across the Universe.  I also recommend Once – another great film about music.  (A reader told me to see it – now I can’t remember who ….but thank you!)

Mom came for a visit for our Spring Break and it ended up being a marathon of movies – at the theater and at home.  We even rented Sleeping Beauty – Fallon’s choice.  Yep, saw Enchanted too.  Fun that she still enjoys the fairy tales (even when I’m dyeing her hair goth black tonight.)

    SO then, did you rent “Enchanted” as well – absolutely a positive positive movie experience. Not in DVD yet but perhaps playing near you is “Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day” – another one where your face gets tireed from all of the smiling..
    Speaking of, you and your mamma have the same smile (not exactly in the second picture but in many other pix of you – in the second shot she has the same smile as Fallon); what a special thing to share!

    and… I had seen the trailers for “August Rush” before I saw “Across the Universe” and was distracted by Bono’s look – I kept thinking of Robin Williams, which interrupted the flow of the movie for a moment. Even on watching it (several times) later I still think of Robin Williams

    Hey Michelle, Great pics as usual. I really want to see August Rush. I’m in Scottsdale with the folks, Barrett, Kathy, Sarah, and Michael Patten. Another great blog from you. Love to your Mom and everyone.
    We still need to plan a get together, and when you have a minute you need to save Barrett from his mother’s music habits. ( :

    It’s so fun to do movie marathons! And it looks like the weather was lovely. Glad you had a fun time.
    Sweeney’s coming out on Tuesday, and I have it right up there on my Flix list to watch again. Music, albeit a different perspective…

    I reckon fairy tales and goth black hair go together when you think about it. Especially if you’re rooting for the wicked witch/stepmother etc…..
    Our movie marathon in the upp coming school hols will no doubt feature a great deal of Star Wars, Rings and a rerun of Indiana Jones to get us in the mood for May release of the new one.
    If you haven’t yet caught Be kind Re-wind, it’s actually a bit of a gem in my humble opinion.

    Good Morning Michelle! Seeing tons of movies and rentals is what my mom and I do when she visits! I keep a list and then we have a blast watching them. With homemade chex-mix of course! Have a super lovely day, Andra

    I finally went and saw THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL! I was a little disapointed in the omission of events from the book. I picked up the Digital Somerset yesterday, and loved your article…you are a rock star!

    Hey there, Michelle. It’s great to meet your mom via your blog. She must have loved being around you, your husband and the kiddies for the weekend. I haven’t seen “Once” yet but I’ve heard good reviews about it. Have fun with your friend this weekend!
