Pulling double duty – catching up on Ruby Tuesday journal pages plus creating sample for current GPP Street Team Crusade No. 41 ~ Grid Lock.  Super easy way to make a page.  Collecting evidence of a recent project, or stash of faves, or remnants from the studio table…makes for a cool and quick spread.  Check out the crusade HERE.

Have you noticed the background options at Google?  I have mine set at Boontje.  There were several Chihuly options too.  *swoon*

Your “remnants” are so much nicer than mine !!!!!
Thank you for your roses without thorns post recently too. Were words I needed to hear at that exact moment. Helped ease my sadness. Thank you – special lady 🙂

Awesome remnant journal pages! Also, I saw that Google background yesterday and I thought of you. Way cool 🙂

Love the grid pages, Michelle. I have a lot of fabric scraps and trims that I’ve been thinking about putting together in a grid pattern. You’ve given me another push to do it!
I have the Chihuli background on my google page, but I love the Boontje too.

Magical! All of it!!! This looks like a great challenge! Maybe once all the graduation parties around here are done, I can get back to playing.

    Hello Michelle,
seems you had a nice day at the school and the students too ! If ALL art-teachers were so up- to- date like theirs… My daughter is in artschool and sometimes I miss the connection with the mixed mediaworld that is so present in the artworld these days. The art teachers are sometimes so traditional… it’s great to mix old and new , I think.
Another crusade… scraps… does scraps of my Poppychildren count too ? I have made different projects with them for easter, mother’s day, father’s day,…I just didn’t save all the scraps… but maybe a grid with details of the projects ?…
Maybe next weekend I’ll be able to create a bit. End of schoolyear is so busy with all the paperwork that must be done…(sigh)
Hope your wrist heals soon or at least they know what the problem is, so it can be solved or healed !
    greetings from Belgium

You could even play with the scale of the grids to see how the size of the pattern and color would change! I love this idea so much! I also nominated you for a blog award on my latest post =)

Just realised I forgot to comment on your pages!
I luv them, but of course you know that because they inspired me to take part in the crusade. I luv the combination of colours, the architectural shapes & Ruby Tuesday.
