To finish up GREEN week I’ll tell the origin of my company name. Cutting open a green pepper, dipping it into paint, and pressing to paper, makes for a great St. Patrick’s Day card when you are stamping for the first time with your young child (now 16 years old). Here are the keepsakes saved from a project Peter and I did together when he was 3. I love when there are secret meanings behind something…..so now you know this one. Green pepper’s pressed to paper make four leaf clovers, provided you’ve scouted out the best shaped ones. How cool is that?

That is really cool! And sometimes, when you cut the stem, at the point where it burrows into the pepper, you will find the pattern of a little face. It does not happen very often, but with your clover finding luck, who knows? 😉

This is way cool! I love to know little secrets like that. And I have a three-year old son who loves to craft with me. I think I should give this green pepper press thing a go 🙂

Michelle that is so cool. I never thought to print with a green pepper all the years I taught nursery school. I did the three paper hearts together to make 3 leaf clover / shamrocks.
