get ’em while you can!

Mwpsaelmersmarkers

So I’ve had these markers sitting around and thought I would try them over the spray paint.  If you’ve been spraying you know it can be hard to write over.  Sharpies and grease pens are fine….but THESE!  Go run and get some while they are still on the rack.  Elmers website say "no longer available".  What are they thinking?  The metallics are a yawn, they clog up like most other metallics.  This WHITE is smooth and dreamy and write over spray.  It’s called ELMERS PAINTERS, Opaque Paint Marker.  You can thank me later 🙂       Oh, and I prefer the medium tip, but we can’t be getting picky during this tragedy.

EDIT:  here’s what they look like and I just found some online HERE.

Those good Sakura white gel pens work well, too. :>
I’ve been cutting portrait stencils like mad. I love to carve blocks and this cutting stencils stuff has the same really good feel to it. Loving it!

I just bought a bunch of those on clearance and adore them. But what a bummer that they will soon be gone! I didn’t get the white, though. I tried the paint Sharpie instead, which is okay. Hopefully I can try one before they are all gone–yikes!

Oh yes the effect is great, perhaps when they are not produces any more you can use a white sakura gel pen?!

Fantastic! I got this just before spray painting 40 envelopes to send off to my ‘zine subscribers (of COURSE I had to do mail art for them!) and the white worked FLAWLESSLY over the spray paint. I am in love. Michael’s has the entire line on sale for $2; I tried another color and it doesn’t work well AT ALL. I’m going to buy up as many as I can because not even my Sharpie Paint white works this well!! Thanks for the tip!

I found Elmer’s Painters at Walmart yesterday in their craft section. They had individual colors, as well as packs of 5 colors. May have to hit up Michael’s as well. 🙂
