This is so amazing. We have had our son tested for the spectrum disorders…they say no that it is a non-verbal learning disorder. He and I were talking about calluses this morning and how he holds his pencil, hence his callous. Interesting that he holds it the same as this fellow.

Michelle, I love checking in on your blog for your cutting edge art (pun intended), but I also look forward to inspirational entries like this. My 4 year old son, Morgan, was diagnosed with Autism in January. The words were hard to hear, but we reminded ourselves that he is still the remarkable boy he was the day before we knew. He recently became enthralled with Harold and the Purple Crayon and so sat down and drew and drew and drew several pages from the book from memory. It was fascinating. I look forward to sharing this with my husband. Thank you.
