No school for a whole week! That means a break for Mom too. Spent the morning in my jammies. Did a little shopping on ETSY (will share soon). Got to the post office just before closing. Had an impromptu pizza party. Can you smell my garlic breath from there? Got dirty in my studio with some spray paint. Couldn’t find my gloves so my hands almost look like this.. I’m avoiding cleaning. If you’re going to procrastinate you should at least be having fun making stuff, right? Blackletter is still my fave new font. Spray is still my fave old medium. And I haven’t evolved in my color selection – who says you have to?

Great art Michelle! I’m curious to know which stencils are your favorite and why? Are there stencils that work better for you than others? (in design and the actual material they’re made from?) Some stencils I’ve used have been quite flimsy and the spray has gone underneath the stencil – which is fine for some designs, but not so fine for others. Thanks! Love your work!!

You never have to evolve in your color selection! Black and red will always be my favorite color combination. And black and purple. Black and anything, really, but especially red or purple.

I love this! I have this color pallette in my head all the time, and I keep working with blues and whites, instead! What’s that about?
I need process! Technique! How’d you do it?!

Oh, and I just got some COOL metallic and glitter spray paints to go with my others, on sale, and haven’t ever used them! One of these days, I’ll have time. But doesn’t yours look awesome?!
