A few weeks ago Fallon and I stayed in the city.  This was our view.  At the time I didn't know the World Trade Center footprints would be waterfalls, with the names of those lost etched in bronze surrounding the perimeter.  Haunting, yet beautiful.  See more about it HERE.

    thank you so much for posting your photo and the link. I had not seen any info on the memorial site and watching the animation (with no sound) was breath-taking…I must see this in person now.
