serendipity boxes

Still defaulting to cardboard……I've been collecting anything and everything with brown paper packing.  These little craft boxes are a terrific addition to my cardboard sculptures, and they were the perfect fit inside an assemblage frame.  See the July/August Somerset Studio for the complete article.

Love the idea of these craft/kraft boxes! I have a thing for small boxes too. Planning a trip to B&N to pick up the Somerset Studio issue.

I love your article, Michelle! My copy arrived the other day, and I always look for your article first, ‘Make it Your Own’. So today, my grandson and I went to the beach, and I decided to take your project, and ‘make it my own’ with treasures gleaned from the beach. I didn’t have little paper mach boxes on hand, so I’m going to use match boxes. We found some great little treasures for our boxes, from rocks, driftwood pieces and even some dead flowers…I can’t wait to put it all together! Thanks for the inspiration!
